Exchange Rates & Getting a British Bank Account
Don’t worry, I’ll get back to taxes soon-ish (😉), but one of the biggest issues for American citizens moving to the UK is getting a British bank account. Especially if like us, your work isn’t based in the UK. Plus I’ll go into converting your US dollars into British pounds!

Up next on my list about my UK move was taxes. And yes, it’s important, but right now I’m feeling the same about writing it as I do when I sit down to prepare our taxes. Since I can avoid this topic (unlike my taxes) without being penalized by a government agency, I think I shall.

I am a shameless Christmas movie aficionado, and The Holiday is an all time favourite. I’ll watch it no matter the season, but as the hubs will tell you it’s practically on loop during December!
