31 days ago I started wearing a dress every day to spread awareness about human trafficking, and of course the weather in California responded by dropping 10 to 20 degrees! Couldn’t complain though because my some of my team mates were dealing with snow.
In case you missed my daily dress pics with all the lovely holiday posts flooding our social feeds, my team and I are wearing dresses as Dressember advocates. Dressember’s founder, Blythe Hill (who happens to love a good pun) started DRESSember to fight human trafficking both here and around the world. The dress is the symbol of our campaign.
I absolutely adore my team… we’re called Yellow Does Dressember, and we’re all members of Yellow Co. (founded by Joanna Waterfall). Shout out to Jenn Uhen (The Pledgettes), Dominique DiBernardo, Jill, Addison, and Macy Arbini, Anna Kietzman, Line Thybo, and Joanna Waterfall… we’ve battled through sicknesses, snow, and rain, and now we’re almost at the finish line!!
Our team’s goal is to fund a full rescue, and our generous 88 donors have given $4,508.68.
